After a break of at least two years I have returned to this oil painting determined to finish it. Since I began work again, I have added details to the buildings of La Grande Motte in the distance and the sea itself. In the mid foreground you can see a dad walking with his daughter next to the waves (based on me and my daughter). I am now deliberating whether to tone this red down or to leave it. Decisions, decisions.
